About the EEC



History



In 2007, the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium was created by representatives of entrepreneurship programs at seven universities and colleges in Northeast Ohio (Ashland University, Baldwin Wallace College, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, Kent State University, and The University of Akron. The Consortium initiated with a grant from the Burton Morgan Foundation.

Mission Statement



The purpose of the EEC is to provide practical "experiential" and theoretical education to students in Northeast Ohio to prepare them to become entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs; create new ventures and jobs and build wealth for the region.
